Citilink records positive performance in 2019

JAKARTA - Citilink Indonesia scored a positive performance throughout 2019 by achieving a net profit margin estimated to be around 5% compared to the previous year.

"This positive achievement was based on contributions from passenger revenue, cargo revenue, and other revenue (ancillary). In addition, this is also the result of Citilink's efforts to continue to make various innovations and provide the best range of services aimed at improving passenger comfort," said Citilink Indonesia's President Director Juliandra in Jakarta, Friday (1/24).

Last year, Citilink Indonesia managed to achieve On Time Performance (OTP) at 92.5%, an increase of 9.8% from 82.7% in 2018. In addition, Citilink has flown 12.2 million passengers, opened 21 new domestic flight routes and 6 new international routes to Malaysia, China, Cambodia and Australia in 2019.

Until now, Citilink Indonesia has a total of 51 Airbus A320, 7 units of ATR 72-600 and 2 units of Airbus A330-900 NEO. Whereas in 2020, Citilink will bring in 5 ATR 72-600 units and expand domestic and international routes to Australia, the Middle East and other Asia Pacific countries. (LM)
