JCI declines 69.65 points at midday break

JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) slumped by 69.65 points or 1.12% to 6,174.46 at the end of session I today (27/1). JCI was seen moving in the range of 6,173.10 and 6,244.10 after yesterday it was closed at 6,244.10.

All sectors weakened and dragged JCI into the red zone. The two sectors with the biggest decline of more than 2% were the mining sector and various industries, which fell 2.13% and 2.57%, respectively.

Top losers in session I were PT Indonesia Prima Property Tbk (OMRE), PT Tifico Fiber Indonesia Tbk (TFCO) and PT Multi Prima Sejahtera Tbk (LPIN). (LM)
