PONTIANAK - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) through Decision of Members of the Board of Commissioners (KADK) Number KEP-19 / D.03 / 2020 dated January 27, 2020 revoked the business license of PT Bank Perkreditan Rakyat Tebas Lokarizki which is located at Jl. Raya Tebas No.31, Kec. Tebas, Kab. Sambas, West Kalimantan Province.
Since September 25, 2019, PT BPR Tebas Lokarizki has been designated as a BPR with the status of Special Supervision because the Minimum Capital Adequacy Ratio (KPMM) is below the applicable provisions.
However, until the specified deadline, the restructuring efforts made by the Management / Shareholders to get out of the status of Special Supervision which must have a KPMM ratio of at least 8% are not realized.
Considering the statement of inability of the Management and Shareholders in making the BPR healthy and the deteriorating financial condition of the BPR, and appointing Article 38 of the POJK above, then OJK revoked the business license of the BPR after receiving notification from the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS).
OJK urges customers of PT Bank Perkreditan Rakyat Tebas Lokarizki to remain calm because public funds in banks including BPRs are guaranteed by LPS according to applicable regulations. (LM)
