JAKARTA. Mandiri Sekuritas predicts that the Jakarta Composite Index (CSPI) can reach 6,875 in 2020, due to a number of supporting sentiments.
Silva Halim, Director of Mandiri Sekuritas, said that a number of these sentiments also supported investment opportunities in the Indonesian capital market. "We see three big themes in 2020 which are catalysts for the growth of the Indonesian capital market; namely policy reforms, industry consolidation, and trend shifting from consumption to investment, "Halim said to Kontan on Monday (27/1) yesterday.
For information, JCI rose by 1.69% to 6,299.54 in 2019. But since the beginning of this year, JCI has declined by 1.71%.
Nevertheless, Halim assessed that the decline in the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) was still quite common. (KR/AR)
