JAKARTA. The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) works closely with the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) to integrate real investment and portfolios in the capital market.

Bahlil Lahadalia, Head of BKPM, hopes that many business players will be encouraged to use alternative funding from the capital market. "So that it can create more jobs and improve the welfare of the community," explained Lahadalia this morning in Jakarta.

Meanwhile Inarno Djajadi, Managing Director of IDX, said that his party was also ready to guide companies that had been registered with BKPM to conduct an Initial Public Offering (IPO). In addition, a memorandum of understanding between the IDX and BKPM will also be the basis for determining policies in the investment sector.

"We hope to provide many benefits in improving the economy in Indonesia," said Djajadi. (KR/AR)
