JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of Trade Jerry Sambuaga synergized with local stakeholders to develop trade potential, especially exports in the province of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), such as Labuan Bajo. In addition to tourism potential, Labuan Bajo is also worth developing its regional trade potential so that it can improve the regional economy, even for the global market.
This synergy was strengthened through a trade dialogue with members of the NTT Provincial KADIN which took place in Labuan Bajo, NTT, Sunday (1/26). "The synergy between these stakeholders is needed to develop trade potential in the regions more optimally in improving the regional economy and creating broad employment. Not only that, potential products in the developed regions also have a great opportunity to rise and dominate the export market, like Bajawa and Flores coffee, NTT woven cloth, and palm / ant sugar," said the Vice Minister of Trade.
The Vice Minister of Trade invited NTT regional entrepreneurs to be able to take advantage of these opportunities by attending international exhibitions such as the Trade Expo Indonesia 2020 and Dubai Expo 2020. In addition, the Ministry of Trade will also facilitate and provide support for businesses to develop their export potential. (LM)
