83 One Price Fuel points will be opened in 2020

JAKARTA. The Indonesian government will open 83 One Price Fuel points in a number of Indonesia's outermost and lagging regions this year, after successfully opening 170 new points in 2019.

Fansurullah Asa, Head of the Regulatory Agency for Upstream Oil and Gas (BPH Migas), said that his party would cooperate with the Regional Governments (Pemda) to provide the permit for those One Price Fuel points, since this was one of the problems for this program in 2019.

"Last year, the problems were related to licensing, inappropriate spatial planning or entrepreneurs who backed out," Asa explained through a press release.

Of the 83 points planned by the government, 13 points will be built in Sumatra. Then 13 points will be built in Kalimantan, 17 points in Bali, 5 points in NTB, 16 points in NTT, 22 points in Sulawesi and Maluku, and 14 points in Papua. (KR/AR)
