JAKARTA. PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR) is considering the option to acquire a mineral mine other than coal, to diversify its business.
Sara K. Loebis, Corporate Secretary of UNTR, said that the company is always open to the option of acquiring new mines. However, the company is still considering which mineral mine that will be acquired. "Until now, there has been no exact (location)," explained Loebis as reported by Kontan on Sunday (9/2) yesterday.
Meanwhile, Ari Setiyawan, Investor Relations of UNTR, projects that the company's consolidated sales will be contributed by its mining business line.
This year, UNTR is targeting gold sales to be able to reach 360 to 370 thousand ounces. While coal production is targeted to reach 130 million tons. (KR/AR)
