JAKARTA - PT XL Axiata generated Rp 25.15 trillion in revenue in 2019, 9% higher than its revenue in 2018 of Rp 23 trillion. This is the largest revenue record in the company's history.
Based on the company's official statement made on Monday (10/2), the revenue growth was also higher than the estimates made by analysts of 4%.
The company also managed to record Rp 713 billion in profit, much better than in 2018 when the company lost Rp 3.29 trillion.
President Director & CEO of XL Axiata, Dian Siswarini said the positive performance recorded by the company was caused by its strategy to prioritize data services. Revenue from data services in 2019 grew 28% to Rp20.25 trillion. (ARM/AR)
