INCO will drill the Pomalaa Block at the end of this month

JAKARTA - PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) will drill the Pomalaa Block, Kolaka Southeast Sulawesi at the end of February 2020, where the action plan will also be carried out on three other blocks including, Sorowako Block, Sorowako Outer Area Block, East Luwu, Sulawesi South, and Bahadopi Block, Morowali, Central Sulawesi.

As quoted from the disclosure of company information, Monday (10/2), Cut Fika Lutfi, Corporate Secretary of PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) said that all drilling activities are planned to obtain a complete laterite profile.

The action plan on the Sorowako Block includes drilling a distance of 25 meters (m) in the West Block Sorowako while in the Sorowako Block the Outer Area will continue the process of drilling a distance of 200 m on Mount Lampesue and Bukit Gaharu Larona. While in the Bahodopi Block drilling activities will continue with a distance of 50 m and 25 m in Block 3.

As is known, INCO has spent a budget of US$ 938,922 on exploration activities in January 2020. Exploration activities using the HQ-3 core drilling method on each of these blocks. Currently, the results of testing in the process of calculating resources and reserves with the ordinary krigging method in Sorowako. (LK)
