Bank Permata posted Rp 1.50 trillion in net income

JAKARTA - PT Bank Permata Tbk (BNLI) generated a net profit of Rp 1.50 trillion during 2019, up by around Rp 600 million compared to the same period last year, with a net profit of Rp 901.25 billion. The increase in profit performance was due to growth in interest income, trade transactions, and securities trading gains for investment.

As quoted from the Financial Statements as of December 31, 2019, published by the IDX on Wednesday (2/19), BNLI collected interest income of Rp 10.11 trillion, up from Rp 9.41 trillion in December 2018 and sharia income of Rp 1.62 billion, down from Rp 1.66 billion. So that net interest and sharia income were recorded at Rp 5.72 trillion, up slightly compared to the period of 2018, as much as Rp 5.40 trillion.

In the financial report, BNLI's operating income was recorded at Rp 7.83 trillion, up from Rp 7.36 trillion. This increase was due to the growth in trade transaction revenue to Rp 575.76 billion from Rp 286.18 billion and securities sales profits to Rp 185.06 billion from Rp 17.56 billion.

In that period, BNLI disbursed loans of Rp 138.22 trillion, up from Rp 128.11 trillion in the 2018 period. Where the composition of the largest lending to third parties was Rp 104.32 trillion and related parties amounted to Rp 757.13 billion. (LK)
