BCA disbursed a Rp 603.7 trillion in loans

JAKARTA - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) disbursed loans of Rp 603.7 trillion in 2019, up around 9.5% compared to the same period in 2018. The ratio of non-performing loans (non-performance loans) was recorded at the level of 1.3% in December 2019, down from Rp 1.4% compared to the 2018 period.

As quoted from a press release on Friday (21/2), Jahja Setiaatmadja, President Director of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), said the company posted double-digit growth in the business credit segment. "BCA's credit growth can be achieved thanks to maintained credit quality through the application of the principle of prudence consistently," he said.

In 2019, corporate loans grew 11.1% to Rp 236.9 trillion and commercial and SME loans to Rp 202.9 trillion. Consumer loans grew 4.3% to Rp 158.3 trillion, where the mortgage segment grew 6.5% to Rp 93.7 trillion, KKB fell 1.1% to Rp 47.6 trillion, and outstanding credit cards grew 9, 4% to Rp 14.1 trillion. While sharia financing grew 15.2% to Rp 5.6 trillion. (LK)
