Bumi Resources Minerals subsidiary produces fine gold from Poboya gold mine

JAKARTA - PT Citra Palu Minerals (CPM), a subsidiary of PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), successfully processed dore bullion from the Poboya gold mine in Palu, Central Sulawesi into fine gold at BRMS’s precious metal smelter in Jakarta on February 18, 2020.

“679 grams of dore bullion (with 83% gold content) were successfully processed into 565 grams of fine gold at a smelter in Jakarta,” said CPM Project Manager Haris Yusuf in an official statement received by IDNFinancials.com, Tuesday (25/2).

“This proves that our production facility and well-trained workers are capable of producing good quality dore bullion in the Poboya gold mine.”

Currently CPM’s reserves are estimated at 3.9 million tonnes of gold ore, with 7.9 million tonnes of gold ore in reserves with gold content of 4.3 grams per tonne. (MS)
