JAKARTA - PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI) only managed to generate Rp 243.62 billion in profit in 2019, 83.97% lower than its profit in 2018 of Rp 1.52 trillion.
As quoted from the company's financial statements published today (27/2), AALI's net sales was recorded at Rp 17.45 trillion, 8.55% lower than its figure in 2018 of Rp 19.08 trillion.
Not only that, but the company's expenses also rose from Rp 1.33 trillion to Rp 1.48 trillion. This caused the company's pre-tax profit to fell from Rp 2.20 trillion in 2018 to Rp 660.86 billion. (LK/AR)
