JAKARTA. PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk. prepares a capital expenditure (CapEx) budget of Rp 390 billion for plant expansion. The expansion is expected to help the company obtain new contracts with a total value of Rp 11.9 trillion this year.

Corporate Secretary of Waskita Beton Precast Siti Fathia Maisa Syafurah said the plant will be built in three locations, Penajam (East Kalimantan), Bojanegara (Banten), and Gasing (South Sumatra).

In addition to expansion, the company will also develop more batching plants to add to the 72 batching plants the company currently owns, and IT infrastructure development.

"Funds for the CapEx budget will be taken from the company's internal cash and bank loans or bonds. Both are still being considered, " she said as quoted by Bisnis on Wednesday (4/3).

This year, said Fathia, the company is targeting to obtain new contracts with a total value of Rp 11.9 trillion. Of this amount, external contracts are expected to contribute almost half of it, or Rp 5.89 trillion. (AM/AR)
