JAKARTA - The revenue of PT Inti Dufree Promosindo, a subsidiary of PT Sona Topas Tourism Industry Tbk (SONA), fell by 80.65% YoY in February 2020, mainly due to the outbreak of coronavirus (Covid-19) which affected the consumers' spending pattern at the airport.
As quoted from the company's disclosure, Wong Budi Setiawan, Corporate Secretary of PT Sona Topas Tourism Industry Tbk (SONA) said the decline in revenue will continue as long as there is no solution for the coronavirus outbreak. "IDP's customers are tourists who will go abroad through international airports," he said.
At present, IDP operates a duty-free shop in I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali. (LK/AR)
