Lion AIr inaugurates Jakarta-Banyuwangi route

BANYUWANGI - On March 6, Lion Air inaugurated its first flight to Banyuwangi - Blimbingsari Airport, which is served from Jakarta via Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten.

This inaugural flight places Banyuwangi as Lion Air's new destination to complete the domestic network. This city is the third city in East Java by Lion Air operations after Surabaya - Juanda International Airport in Sidoarjo, East Java (SUB) and Abdul Rachman Saleh Airport in Malang (MLG).

Lion Air operates flights directly (non-stop) with a frequency of once every day or seven times a week. For convenience and added flying experience in this flight, Lion Air operates Boeing 737-800 Next Generation (NG) with a capacity of 189 economy class.

Lion Air operates flight number JT-594 from Terminal 1 A Soekarno-Hatta at 06.30 local time (West Indonesia Time, GMT+07) and arrives in Banyuwangi at 08.20 WIB. For the return flight, Lion Air departs with JT-593 at 09.00 WIB and arrives at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport at 10.40 WIB. (LM)
