JAKARTA - Minister of Trade Agus Suparmanto has increased synergy and coordination between the Ministry of Trade and the Indonesian Embassy in Beijing to overcome the impact of the corona virus in China on the economy, especially Indonesian trade.
With this synergy and coordination, the Indonesian government can obtain the most current information regarding conditions in China to determine the strategic steps that need to be taken in relation to increasing exports and imports for export and industrial orientation, including domestic trade.
“Regarding the Covid-19 outbreak in China, it is hoped that business people in Indonesia can more quickly obtain information on the latest developments regarding the economic conditions in China. This is intended so that business operators obtain information regarding the import of raw materials from China for export purposes," said Trade Minister Agus.
This was conveyed by the Minister of Trade Agus during a video conference with the Indonesian Ambassador to China and Mongolia Djauhari Oratmangun in Jakarta, Wednesday (4/3). The video conference was held at the 2020 Ministry of Trade Work Meeting held on 4-5 March 2020, in Jakarta. (LM)
