JAKARTA - Moka, a startup providing digital cashier services in Indonesia together with the Deputy for Business Restructuring in the Indonesian Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs established a strategic partnership through a business management digitalization workshop with the theme "Brick To Click Business Expansion". In this partnership, Moka together with Ministry of Cooperatives and SME endeavored for MSME to advance in class through digital transformation and business development.

Herustiati, Plt. Deputy for Business Restructuring at the Indonesian Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs explained that it was time for KUMKM to start changing its business management patterns from conventional to digital by utilizing data and technology. “Because by digitizing KUMKM it will be easier to supervise its business in real time so that it can focus more on things that are more important such as business development and excellent service to customers," said Herustiati.

This educational roadshow will be conducted in four cities, namely in Bandung, Mataram, Surabaya and Solo for one month until April 2020. The signing of the cooperation was officially held in the first city, Bandung, on March 5, 2020 at the Papandayan Hotel.

In this series of educational events, Moka and Kemenkop UKM targeted 200 participants in four cities that are MSME-scale businesses, by providing guidance on business digitalization. The three main things to be achieved are the delivery of education about the benefits of digitizing business management to MSMEs, improving the quality of human resources, then giving MSMEs the opportunity to try the digital cashier application from Moka for free.
