JAKARTA. PT Dewata Freight International Tbk (DEAL) is diversifying its business portfolio to anticipate the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19), which began to have an impact on the company's performance.
Nur Hasanah, Finance Director of DEAL, said that so far the company has not considered revising its business targets for 2020.
"As for the target revision, we have not been able to give a statement. However, the coronavirus indeed has an impact on the company's performance in the last two months, "explained Hasanah as reported by Kontan at the weekend.
The biggest impact felt by DEAL due to Covid-19 is on its export-import business line. Hasanah explained that many items from China were being held back. For information, 60 to 70% of DEAL's total revenue came from its export-import business. (KR/AR)
