JAKARTA - PT Fajar Surya Wisesa Tbk (FSAW) recorded net sales of Rp 8.26 trillion during 2019, down from net sales in 2018 of Rp 9.93 trillion. This decline occurred in the domestic and export markets.
As quoted from the Financial Report as of December 31, 2019, Tuesday (3/17), sales in the domestic market were recorded at Rp 6.71 trillion, down compared to the 2018 bribery period, the agreement was recorded at Rp 7.37 trillion, while in the export market was recorded Rp 1.55 trillion, down from Rp 2.56 trillion.
In terms of volume, sales in 2019 also declined to 1,305,668 tons from 2018 sales volume of 1,375,908 tons. The decrease in sales volume occurred in the export market from 374,265 tons to 291,300 tons, while the domestic market from 1,001,643 tons to 1,104,369 tons. In addition, the production volume also dropped to 1,301,480 tons from 1,409,465 tons.
The impact of the decline in sales performance affected the performance of net income, down to Rp 968.83 billion from Rp 1.40 trillion in 2018. However, profit achievement in 2019 was still higher than earnings in 2017 and 2016. (LK)
