JAKARTA. PT Kimia Farma Tbk. (KAEF) has prepared plans to anticipate the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. One of them is by finding alternative sources of raw materials and packaging in India, Korea, and Europe.
Corporate Secretary of Kimia Farma Ganti Winarno Putro said the company made efforts to keep production running smoothly. "We will continue to support the government in tackling the spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia," he said as quoted by Bisnis.com on Tuesday (17/3).
He explained that one of the forms of the company's support in controlling the spread of COVID-19 is by providing masks at the company's retail outlets even with limited supply. The company applies a maximum purchase policy of 2 masks per customer so that it can be distributed evenly. (AM/AR)
