JAKARTA. The revenue of PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) fell by 7.81% YoY to Rp 21.70 trillion in 2019. The decline in revenue was due to the decline in revenue experienced by almost all of AKRA's business lines.
Haryanto Adikoesoemo, President Director of AKRA announced in a press release that the company's fuel sales experienced a decline of 8% to Rp 15.74 trillion due to lower average selling price (ASP). The company's chemical sales business also fell by 16% to Rp 4.46 trillion, also due to lower ASP. Only the company's logistics business line that experienced a 34% growth to Rp 796 billion.
In the midst of declining revenue, AKRA is still able to record a net profit of Rp 714 billion, recorded a small growth of 0.28% YoY.
Haryanto is optimistic that this year the company will be able to record sales growth, profitability, and margins. (AM/AR)
