JAKARTA. The Financial Services Authority (OJK) extended the deadline for the submission of reports and the agenda of companies' General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) by 2 months, due to the emergency status caused by the coronavirus (Covid-19).

Through a press release, OJK explained the deadline for the submission of financial statements from 30 March 2020 to 31 May 2020. While the deadline for the submission of annual reports was extended to 30 June 2020.

Meanwhile, the deadline for GMS was extended by two months to 31 August 2020.

In addition, OJK also gave companies the option to hold an online GMS using the e-GMS system provided by KSEI. "With an electronic proxy, shareholders do not need to be present (avoiding the crowd) and can be represented by the proxy," said OJK. (KR/AR)
