JAKARTA. Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati said there was a budget of Rp 62.3 trillion spread across various ministries and institutions (K/L) that could be reallocated for the handling of Covid-19.

The amount of budget that can be reallocated has increased from the previous plan of around Rp 5 trillion-Rp 10 trillion.

"First, from the official travel budget, non-operational goods expenditure, honorarium, it can all be reallocated and K / L will complete 3 priorities, this is only from the state budget, not the regional budget," Sri Mulyani said on Friday (20/3).

According to Sri Mulyani, there is a budget of around Rp 43 trillion for travel and meeting. Of that amount, 50% of the total budget can be reallocated to 3 priorities (health sector, social safety nets, and the economy). (AM/AR)
