BFI Finance obtained US$ 100 million in loans from Standard Chartered

JAKARTA - PT BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk (BFIN) obtained a loan facility of US$ 100 million from a syndicate of banks, where the facility agreement was signed yesterday (17/3). The banking syndication was led by Standard Chartered Bank as mandatel lead arranger and bookrunner.

As quoted from the company's disclosure on Monday (3/23), Sudjono, Director of PT BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk (BFIN) said this loan facility was a change from a loan facility of US$ 75 million signed on October 21, 2019. "The loan facility has a period of one to three years. These funds will be provided for working capital in financing activities, "he said.

In the signed loan facility agreement, Standard Chartered Bank (Hongkong), Limited acts as a facility agent and PT BCA Tbk (BBCA) as a collateral agent. As of December 31, 2019, financing receivables were recorded at Rp 17.39 trillion, up from Rp 17.20 trillion in the same period in 2018. Securities issued reached Rp 3.75 trillion, lower than the same period in 2018 of Rp 5.19 trillion. (LK)
