JAKARTA. The Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) recorded an increase in the number of business license applicants. During the period of 2-18 March 2020, the number of applicants reached 240,178.
In addition, the number of applicants for business identification numbers (NIB) also increased by 18.99% from 39,618 to 47,144.
Bahlil Lahadalia, Head of BKPM, said that until now his party still accepts business license applications through its Online Single Submission (OSS) system, an online licensing portal managed by BKPM.
Lahadalia claims that the Covid-19 outbreak has no significant impact on the application for licenses through OSS, since the number of applications made through OSS rose by 17.6% year on year. (KR/AR)
