JAKARTA - PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (KLBF) supports the Indonesian government in dealing with the Corona virus outbreak (Covid-19) by providing medicines, multivitamins, health supplements, nutritional products, masks, PPE for health workers, hand sanitizers and other medical devices, as well as conducting Covid-19 examinations through Kalbe's laboratory network.
The total budget prepared for the aid is amounting to Rp 25 billion which has been carried out in stages since last week, including to various health institutions in the community such as hospitals (RS), Eijkman Research Institute, various offices and community communities. Other health assistance is also provided directly or through the Ministry of Health, POM and Regional Government.
"Bersama Sehatkan Bangsa which is a pillar of Kalbe's CSR, we are ready to support the Indonesian government in overcoming the Covid-19 outbreak," said Vidjongtius, President Director of PT Kalbe Farma Tbk.
Medicines, multivitamins (Starmuno, Elanos, Bejo Jahe Merah, Xonce, Fatigon, H2 Cordicept, etc.) and E-Care hand sanitizers have been distributed to several hospitals, including RSPAD Jakarta, RSPI Sulianti Saroso, RS Persahabatan, Jakarta and through the DKI Jakarta Provincial Health Office which will be distributed to Tarakan Regional Hospital, Duren Sawit Regional Hospital, Cengkareng Regional Hospital and Pasar Minggu Regional Hospital. Kalbe is also preparing 1,000,000 masks, personal protective equipment (PPE), Rapid Test Kits and 500,000 nutritional products for health workers. (LM)
