JAKARTA - Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) edged down by 9.04 points or 0.23% in early trading today (24/3). At 09.04 WIB, the Index was observed at the level of 3,980.48, after yesterday it was closed at 3,989.51.
Three sectoral indices are in the green zone namely the financial, consumer goods and mining sectors. The remaining seven other sectors weakened and dragged JCI into the red zone. The biggest decline occurred in the basic industrial sector which fell by 2.6%.
Top losers at early trading were PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA), PT Kawasan Industri Jababeka Tbk (KIJA) and PT Wilton Makmur Indonesia Tbk (SQMI). (LM)
