JAKARTA - PT Maha Properi Indonesia Tbk (MPRO) postponed plans to develop a number of new projects due to weakening consumer purchasing power due to the impact of the outbreak of the Covid-19 outbreak. In fact, the company also predicts revenue performance will decrease by 50%.

As quoted from the disclosure of company information on Monday (3/23), Suwandy, Director of PT Maha Properti Indonesia Tbk (MPRO), said that the company's revenue will decline in the range of 31% -50% from normal conditions. "Weakening of the economy and efficiency by a number of companies will cause the purchasing power of our property products to decline," he said.

According to him, the company will consider employee efficiency if the economic conditions worsen. At present, the company plans to build the Simprug Signature apartment in Kebayoran Lama, Jakarta and The Kahyangan in the Solo Baru area.

As of the first quarter of 2019, sales were recorded at Rp 4.45 billion, lower than sales in the same period in 2018 of Rp 5.02 billion. While gross profit was recorded at Rp 914.59 million, down from Rp 1.18 billion. (LK)
