JAKARTA - In the midst of a difficult global condition, namely the Coronavirus (COVID-19) escalation, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) is committed to remain present in the community to support each other in tackling and preventing the spread of COVID-19.
"We see that medical devices are experiencing scarcity and prices are soaring sharply, making it difficult to get. This moved us to be present on the public side, contributing to tackle COVID-19 pandemic. Going forward, BCA continues to coordinate with relevant parties such as the government's referral hospital to handle the COVID-19 pandemic in greater numbers to ease the burden of our brothers and sisters who are victims as well as healthcare workers who are currently struggling to cope with COVID-19," said Jahja Setiaatmadja, President Director of BCA in a press release.
BCA’s support is implemented through Bakti BCA's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. Collaborating with the Benihbaik.com platform, BCA is channeling donations in the form of medical equipment to help COVID-19 victims and protect healthcare workers. (LM)
