JAKARTA - PT Ultrajaya Milk Industry and Trading Company Tbk (ULTJ) made a profit of Rp 1.03 trillion in 2019, 47.64% higher than its record in 2018 of Rp 701.60 billion. The increase in net profit is in line with sales growth recorded in 2019.
As quoted from the company's 2019 financial statements published on Friday (27/3), the company recorded Rp 6.24 trillion in sales in 2019, 14.04% higher than its sales in 2018 of Rp 5.47 trillion. Gross profit and operating profit were recorded at Rp 2.34 trillion and Rp 1.26 trillion, higher than its record in 2018 (Rp 1.95 trillion and Rp 892.56 billion).
The biggest contributor to sales came from the domestic market (Rp 6.83 trillion), followed by export (Rp 23.59 billion). (LK/AR)
