JAKARTA - During last week (March 23 - March 27, 2020), the Indonesian capital market experienced high volatility but was successfully closed in the green zone.
It can be seen from the average daily transaction value data which increased by 20.43 percent to Rp9.619 trillion from Rp7.987 trillion in the previous week. Then the increase was also followed by an average daily transaction volume on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) of 16.63 percent to 8,516 billion units of shares from 7,302 billion units of shares in the previous period.
JCI at closing last week was at 4,545,571 or increased by 8.36 percent compared to the previous week at 4,194,944. IDX market capitalization during 23-27 March 2020 showed an increase of 8.36 percent or as much as Rp5,259,807 trillion from Rp4,854,050 trillion during the previous week.
On Friday (3/27) yesterday, foreign investors recorded a net purchase value of Rp221.25 billion, while in 2020, net foreign sales were recorded at Rp9.952 trillion. (LM)
