JAKARTA. The performance of PT Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP) in 2019 was quite stagnant, with sales declined by 0.6% and net profit rose by 1.4% compared to its performance in 2018.
HMSP recorded sales of Rp 106.06 trillion in 2019, lower than its record in 2018 of Rp 106.74 trillion. The domestic market was still the biggest contributor to the company's revenue, reaching 99.2% or Rp 105.16 trillion, while export sales were recorded at Rp 408.19 billion.
HMSP's cost of goods sold also dropped by 1.6% YoY to Rp 79.93 trillion. Finally, HMSP recorded net profit growth of 1.4% YoY from Rp 13.54 trillion in 2018 to Rp 13.72 trillion. (AM/AR)
