Blibli donates PPE worth Rp 1 billion

JAKARTA - Blibli participated in providing medical personnel needs by donating personal protective equipment (PPE) with a total value of Rp 1 billion to the Gatot Subroto Central Army Hospital (RSPAD). Blibli handed over thousands of PPE, consisting of masks, medical gloves, medical robes and shoe protectors, to RSPAD representatives for immediate use.

Kusumo Martanto, CEO of Blibli revealed, "Blibli together with various partners who are members of our platform unite voices to support RSPAD medical personnel, which is the Indonesian government's referral hospital to handle COVID-19. As a manifestation of Blibli's concern and commitment, we donated Rp1 billion in PPE, as well as drinks and health supplements."

As reported in the release, Blibli donated 10,000 masks, 40,000 pairs of medical gloves, 1,000 medical robes, 5,000 pairs of shoe protectors, 17,000 boxes of Frisian Flag Indonesia milk, 1,000 bottles of BRANDS Saripati Chicken PT Brands Suntory Indonesia, 120 bottles of Pocari Sweat ion drink, and 2,200 Youvit Multimum sachets.

In addition to this contribution, Blibli also opened a donation channel so that the community could contribute to volunteers and those in need. Blibli is also raising funds with Kitabisa and BenihBaik in the program "Bersama Kita Pulihkan Indonesia, Donasi Peduli Covid-19". All donations collected will be distributed to procure PPE and sanitation products, including antiseptics and disinfectants, for the medical team, volunteers, and community members who are vulnerable to COVID-19.
