JAKARTA. PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM), also known as Telkom, plans to restructure 20 of its subsidiaries over the next year.

Ririek Adriansyah, Director of TLKM, said the restructuring of the subsidiary is in accordance with the results of the company's business evaluation. The company currently has 49 subsidiaries and second-tier subsidiaries, but some of them are considered to have similar businesses and are inefficient.

"In the future we can add [subsidiaries] in a better way, remain efficient and adapt to the portfolio," explained Adriansyah as reported by Kontan on Friday (3/4) today.

Regarding restructuring, TLKM has not confirmed whether the restructuring of the subsidiaries will be carried out by selling or merging companies. (KR/AR)
