JAKARTA. The Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas) has set the subsidy quota for diesel fuel (JBT) for Q2 2020 at 240,536 kiloliters.

M Fashurullah Asa, Head of BPH Migas, said the quota would be allocated for ASDP ships, passenger ships, trains, and pioneer ships. He added that the quota had been adjusted by considering a number of variables from PT Pertamina (Persero) and the results of a meeting of a number of oil and gas stakeholders.

"The results of the Committee's session also decided that the excess volume distributed would not be recognized as JBT and counted as JBU," Asa explained through an official statement.

For details, as many as 60,048 kiloliters of diesel fuel are allocated to ASDP ships. Then 97,625 kiloliters for passenger ships, 21,863 kiloliters for pioneer ships, and 61,000 kiloliters for trains. (KR/AR)
