JAKARTA. PT Pertamina (Persero) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with PT Microsoft Indonesia to build an integrated digital system.

According to Pertamina VP for Corporate Communication Fajriyah Usman, the MoU will support the company's efficiency, innovation, and digital security. "There will be data monitoring to support the consolidation and development of Pertamina's upstream and downstream Big Data," said Ms Usman in an official statement.

In addition, said Ms Usman, the digital system integration can also help Pertamina market its products in domestic and international markets.

The signing of the MoU was attended by Pertamina CEO Nicke Widyawati, Microsoft Asia-Pacific President Andrea Della Mattea, and State-owned Enterprises Minister Erick Thohir. (KR/MS)
