JAKARTA - The revenue and net profit of PT Sona Topas Tourism Industry Tbk (SONA) declined by 11.58% and 36.58% YoY respectively in 2019.
As quoted from the company's financial statements published on Friday (11/4), the company's revenue was recorded at Rp 1.74 trillion, lower than its record in 2018 of Rp 1.97 trillion. Most of the company's revenue came from duty-free sales (Rp 1.52 trillion), followed by retail sales (Rp 225.32 billion), ticket sales (Rp 548.80 billion) and hotel vouchers sales (Rp 4.70 billion).
The company's gross profit and operating profit also declined by 11.29% and 53.92% respectively. Finally, its net profit was recorded at Rp 78.29 billion, much lower than its record in 2018 of Rp 123.47 billion. (LK/AR)
