JAKARTA - In the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic, Pertamina continued to work on completing the Gas Station (SPBU) Digitalization program while still paying attention to the Covid-19 protocol. The process of digitizing gas stations throughout Indonesia will continue to be pursued this year.

Pertamina Corporate Communication Vice President Fajriyah Usman stated, currently the process of digitizing gas stations throughout Indonesia is still ongoing while still implementing the strict Covid-19 prevention protocol. But it can not be done massively as in normal conditions, for the safety and security of both internal and partner workers. Therefore, it is necessary to adjust the completion schedule which was originally targeted in the middle of this year.

"Efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19 are a top priority at this time, so that it can be quickly ended while maintaining the safety and security of the workers," explained Fajriyah.

The process of digitizing gas stations, added Fajriyah, until the beginning of April 2020 has progressed quite significantly. From a total of 5,518 gas stations, all of them have been completely surveyed. A total of 4,410 gas stations or almost 80% have been installed with IT systems, while the Automatic Tank Gauge (ATG) has been installed at 4,458 gas stations or reached 81%. This installation will be followed by integration progress so that data can be monitored through the dashboard. (LM)
