Fast Food has placed 450 of its employees on furlough

JAKARTA - Due to the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, PT Fast Food Indonesia Tbk. (FAST), KFC's fast food outlet licensee in Indonesia, has placed 450 of its employees on furlough.

Director of Fast Food Indonesia Dalimin Juwono stated in a disclosure of information on Friday (17/4) that although those employees were still getting wages, the amount and method of payment was adjusted based on the results of dialogue and agreement made by the company with PT Fast Food Indonesia Tbk's Workers Union. (SPFFI).

In addition, due to the implementation of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB), the company also changed the operating hours of its outlets in Jabodetabek and created a special health protocol. (ARM/AR)
