21 April 2020 09:32

JAKARTA - Allianz Indonesia through the Yayasan Allianz Peduli collaborated with Halodoc to hold a free drive thru rapid test for COVID-19 in DKI Jakarta.

"This initiative is carried out as a form of concern of Yayasan Allianz Peduli for the community as well as support for government efforts to reduce the rate of increase in COVID-19 cases in Indonesia, particularly in the DKI Jakarta area which is the epicenter of COVID-19. Allianz is always committed to be able to benefit the community by providing consistent and meaningful support, especially in this challenging situation," said Joos Louwerier, Board of Trustees of the Yayasan Allianz Peduli.

This free rapid test service is provided for DKI Jakarta residents who live in the red zone, especially in the Kemayoran area, Central Jakarta and Cilandak, South Jakarta on April 20-25, 2020. In this activity, the physical distancing policy is still implemented, so that the public is required to wear masks and obey the rules to minimize physical contact. Rapid test examination by Halodoc uses blood samples to be tested. Blood drawn will be used to detect antibodies that form when the body has an infection. So patients in the early stages of infection can be identified more quickly.

To be able to take the free rapid test, there are several steps that need to be done by the community, especially those in the two red zones, first by registering through the Halodoc application. Second, registrants can choose the schedule, place, and time to do the rapid test. Finally, upload a photo / scan of an KTP (for adults) and a Family Card (for children). Furthermore, a confirmation SMS related to the test schedule will be sent. In the implementation of this Rapid Test, there is no charge for the provision of rapid test equipment or medical personnel services. (LM)
