JAKARTA - PT Goodyear Indonesia Tbk (GDYR) has temporarily suspended its operational activities until 3 May 2020 to support the government's appeal regarding social distancing to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak in Bogor, West Java.
As quoted from the disclosure of company information on Wednesday (22/4), the suspension has been carried out since 20 April 2020. GDYR's management hopes that the temporary suspension will not have an impact on the company's business continuity. Instead, the policy was made in order to maintain the health and safety of employees.
The management of the company is also monitoring changes in the tire market related to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. (LK/AR)
