Generali Indonesia partners Siloam Hospitals to launch telemedicine feature

JAKARTA - PT Asuransi Jiwa Generali Indonesia has partnered PT Siloam International Hospitals Tbk (SILO) to launch telemedicine feature called Dokter Leo, which is available for free via mobile phone.

In an official statement, Generali Indonesia CEO Edy Tuhirman said the company is the first in Indonesia to launch a telemedicine feature.

The feature, he said, has been medically tested and uses artificial intelligence to check symptoms and detect more than 600 diseases. "Through Dokter Leo, customers can consult from home about their health conditions such as COVID-19 symptoms and other diseases," said Mr Tuhirman on Friday (24/4).

He added that Generali Indonesia is committed to serving as a lifetime partner with continuous customer-focused improvement and development. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the company said it will always provide healthcare solutions for customers.

Dokter Leo will be integrated with Generali Indonesia's other features such as online premium payments and claims through the company's smart app Gen iClick. Through Gen iClick, customers can also access further information on their policies, investment, transaction history, policy changes including investment allocation, ARMS parametre, and correspondence data.
