OJK issues five new regulations to support financial system stability

JAKARTA - The Financial Services Authority (OJK) issued five regulations in an effort to deal with the impact of the Covid-19 outbreak on the economy. The five regulations are follow-ups of Perppu No.1 / 2020 concerning State Financial Policy and Financial System Stability for Mitigation of Pandemic Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

As quoted from ojk.go.id on Monday (27/4), the five regulations (POJK) are related to non-bank financial services institutions, procedures for General Meeting of Shareholders, procedures for electronic GMS, material transactions concerning changes in business activities, and written orders for handling bank problems.

Public Relations and Logistics Deputy Commissioners of OJK Anto Prabowo said that the POJKs were issued on 21 April 2020. "To support efforts to maintain financial system stability and encourage the movement of the national economy," he said. (LK/AR)
