Bank Danamon and Manulife Indonesia extend bancassurance agreement

JAKARTA - PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (BDMN) and PT Asuransi Jiwa Manulife Indonesia (Manulife Indonesia) have extended their bancassurance agreements in order to meet the financial needs of the Indonesian people, including individuals, families, and businesses that are growing better.

Danamon and Manulife have jointly offered innovative insurance and wealth management solutions since they formed a strategic partnership starting from 2011. This partnership agreement was extended until 2036, so that these two leading financial institutions can continue to develop and provide tailor-made and diverse solutions, including pension funds, health protection and Sharia-based insurance to customers.

Danamon's President Director Yasushi Itagaki said: "As our strong relationship and various customer segments have shown, Danamon and Manulife have complementary advantages and a common focus in providing customer-oriented banking, insurance and wealth management solutions. Specifically created solutions including innovative products and services as well as improvements in processes and technology will be offered and developed through collaboration between Manulife and Danamon. These solutions are distributed through a wide network of branch offices throughout Indonesia and Danamon digital services. The partnership with Manulife also includes a subsidiary of Danamon, PT Adira Dinamika Multi Finance Tbk (ADMF), a leading finance company in Indonesia. (LM)
