Accelerating Asia ups investment to S$200,000 for startups

SINGAPORE - Singapore-based VC firm Accelerating Asia Pte Ltd will increase its investment to up to S$200,000 for 7%-10% of equity in startups participating in the company’s acceleration programme.

Through the programme, each startup will receive S$200,000 in investment, which includes S$25,000 in support funds for business development and S$225,000 worth of additional programmes.

“Over the past two years, we have proven our acceleration funding model and gained valuable information from various touchpoints with more than 2,000 startups recruited and good relationships with prominent investors,” said Accelerating Asia General Partner and co-founder Amra Naidoo in an official statement received by IDNFinancials.com, Monday (4/5).

“With the additional funding, we are in a strong position to bet on startups in our programme while maintaining good relationships with startup founders to help them grow, receive funding, and develop their business to the next level.”

Established in 2018, Accelerating Asia currently has a community of 39 founders of 19 startups across nine countries. The company’s portfolio consists of startups engaging in various fields including logistics, edtech, agritech, and e-commerce. (MS)
