JAKARTA - Yesterday (4/5), PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk (BNGA) announced the transformation of its "Go Mobile" application to "OCTO Mobile". The initiative marked the change of one of the CIMB Niaga digital platforms, from a mobile banking application to digital banking that provides full features like a Super App.

For information, the Go Mobile mobile banking service was first introduced in 2012 which was updated to The New Go Mobile (2017) and has now been transformed into the OCTO Mobile digital banking application (2020).

“With OCTO Mobile, customers can now do a variety of banking activities that used to be done at branch offices. Customers can now invest in opening mutual fund accounts and pay for various transactions with a choice of four sources of funds namely Mobile Accounts, savings, credit cards, and Poin Xtra via smartphones in the palm of a very user-friendly hand. This further complements the features that were previously available and can be a solution for customers to remain productive in the midst of challenging conditions related to COVID-19, and everything can be done from home," said CIMB Niaga Consumer Banking Director Lani Darmawan in Jakarta, Monday (4/5),

In addition to these features, continued Lani, customers can also open their first savings account online, submit a loan application without collateral (KTA) for invited customers, open a deposit account, to transfer with a limit of up to Rp500 million per day. For customers who need cash or want to save up, with the cardless menu customers can withdraw and deposit cash without a card at all CIMB Niaga ATMs / CDMs. Likewise, shopping transactions, both at offline and online merchants, are becoming increasingly smooth with QR and Virtual Card Number (VCN) payment features from OCTO Mobile.
