JAKARTA. In an effort to manage liquidity, PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk is currently focusing on carry-over projects with short term payments. In addition, the company also tries to reduce its operating expenses.

Corporate Secretary of Wijaya Karya Mahendra Vijaya explained that the company's liquidity is very tight. Because of that, the company will continue to work on multi-year projects with smooth payment.

Mahendra claims that so far there has been no request to delay project payments. Thus, according to him, the company's total cash flow to date is still positive.

Regarding the impact of COVID-19, he continued, the company continued to conduct studies through financial stress tests. However, according to him, the company will not officially change its performance target this year.

"Indeed, if we stay on the initial target, it seems impossible. However, to set new targets, we are still waiting for more information. At present, we still refers to the stress test, "he said as quoted from Bisnis.com recently. (AM/AR)
