JAKARTA - PT Saratoga Investama Sedaya Tbk (SRTG) recorded significant losses in Q1 2020. While the company managed to record net profit of Rp 1.13 trillion in Q1 2019, in Q1 2020 the company lost Rp 6.02 trillion in Q1 2020.
The majority of these losses can be attributed to the company's loss from investments. In Q1 2019, the company obtained Rp 1.39 trillion from investments, while in Q1 2020, the company lost Rp 5.90 trillion. The company suffered significant losses from all of its shares, including from infrastructure sector (590.99%), natural resources (701.91%), and consumer products (231.73%).
Aside from that, the company owned by Sandiaga S. Uno and Erwin Soeryadjaya also recorded foreign exchange losses of Rp 318.43 billion in Q1 2020. (ARM/AC/AR)
